Meet The Team

Kerrie Keeling

Kerrie is the Managing Director of A Woman's Touch.  Her focus is on the strategic direction of the company, managing growth and allocating resources.  In 2008 in addition to geographical expansion throughout the UK, Kerrie is focusing on developing an eco offering, and also the formation of A Woman's Touch Training Academy - to offer fast track multi trade NVQs to women, as well as private short courses and DIY training. 

Kerrie is an active member on the Board of Women and Manual Trades and she also sits on the advisory board to the Leeds University Business School.

Kerrie won the Natwest Business Woman of the Year Award in 2006, and the BT Female Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2007 - and was congratulated in person by the Queen at Buckingham Palace in February 2007.

After graduating from university with a BA Joint Honours degree in Business Studies and Spanish, Kerrie spent seven years climbing the career ladder at premiere US Investment Banks JPMorgan and Citigoup. During this time she achieved continued academic success, becoming SFA qualified and through examinations, achieving membership of the Association of Corporate Treasurers. Once Kerrie reached her goal of becoming a Vice President by the age of 28, she began to reassess her options, and spotting a gap in the market decided to jump off the corporate bank wagon and set up her own construction company – and so in April 2003 began A Woman’s Touch.

Kerrie has completed a National Design Academy Interior Design Course, for which she gained a Distinction. She has also trained in Plastering, Electrics, Carpentry, Tiling and Plumbing. 
 
In her spare time, Kerrie is also a keen scuba diver, and having logged over 100 dives and gained her PADI Divemaster qualification, she can often be found helping teach in the pool at weekends.
