O2 X Awards - Miss Fix It
WHAT MY COMPANY'S ABOUT:
'We're an all-woman property maintenance company. I have a large team of tradeswomen - from plumbers to plasterers - who can do everything from rewiring to installing kitchens and bathrooms. Four years ago I was having work done on my home and hated the shoddy workmanship and had a brain wave - so I left my investment banking job, took a few courses and the rest is history!'
WHY I SHOULD WIN:
'Because unlike cowboy builders we pay more attention to detail, never leave the loo seat up, are trustworthy and reliable and we also finish the job when we say we will! I jumped into what is one of the most sexist industries in the world and although there have been sacrifices along the way, it's been worth it!'
